Hillary Vaughn and Peter Doocy became first-time parents after welcoming daughter Bridget back in february 2023
Hillary Vaughn and Peter Doocy are proud parents to a baby girl. The Fox Business reporter and her husband, a White House Correspondent for Fox News, welcomed their daughter in February 2023 and she is growing up.

Their newborn, named Bridget Blake Doocy, was delivered in northern Virginia. She came into the world weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce, and measuring 21 inches long. This marked the first child for both Vaughn, 34, and Doocy, 37.
Reflecting on the transition to motherhood, Vaughn humorously noted that her years spent questioning politicians on Capitol Hill actually served as unintentional training for parenthood.
“I didn’t realize it before, but my job has been preparing me for this all along,” she said. “I used to chase lawmakers for answers—now I’m trying to get Baby Bridget to go on the record. ‘Are you hungry? Gassy? Both?’ It’s not easy getting a straight answer!”
“I’ve only been a mom for a week, but it’s already the best assignment I’ve ever had,” Vaughn shared with a smile. “She’s completely stolen the show!”
lso excited for the new addition is Steve Doocy, Peter’s father who is thrilled about becoming a grandfather. Sharing the joyful news, he mentioned that friends had been reaching out, curious about the whereabouts of his son and daughter-in-law.

“I’ve been getting a ton of texts from friends asking, ‘Hey Steve, where’s Peter? Where’s Hillary?’” he said. With a big smile, Doocy added, “Well, I’ve got an announcement—I’m officially a grandpa now.”

How’s the baby now?
Hillary Vaughn and Peter Doocy usually stay out of the spotlight and keep their lives rather private, but they recently shared a Christmas photo that shows just how happy their family is.

Peter is standing next to a Christmas tree, with Hillary enjoying the moment nearby, while little Bridget Blake Doocy is having fun riding a toy car and playing with a giant pen. A truly happy family.
